I’m Angie, the founder of AnchorWell — a mental wellness initiative inspired by my own journey and a deep commitment to supporting those working in demanding environments, especially within the yachting industry.

My introduction to yachting began in 2019. Although my time onboard was brief, I soon transitioned into working closely with yacht owners, where I experienced firsthand the challenges of high-pressure, high-demand lifestyles. Along the way, I formed meaningful connections with crew, partners, friends, and colleagues — witnessing the immense dedication, and often the personal sacrifices, that come with this unique way of life.

AnchorWell was born from a powerful and heartfelt desire to support others — not just from observation, but from the mistakes, lessons, and many years I’ve spent navigating this world myself. I know what it feels like to give so much to your work and wonder where that leaves your own well-being. I believe you shouldn’t have to choose between your career and your health — it should never be one or the other. Through AnchorWell, my goal is to empower those behind the scenes to thrive in both. With the right support, it’s absolutely possible.

OUR apprOach

At Anchorwell, our mission is rooted in prevention. We aim to address mental health proactively, equipping individuals with the tools to manage stress and challenges before they escalate into crisis. Through our four pillars we provide a holistic framework to support wellness. These pillars serve as the foundation for fostering resilience, balance, and a sense of purpose in an industry that often prioritizes work-hard, play-hard over self-care.

The yachting industry operates at a relentless pace, but it doesn’t have to come at the cost of mental health. Anchorwell is here to change the narrative, empowering yacht crew and those in high-pressure roles to not only survive but thrive.
